The Undergraduate Judaic Studies Conference brings together qualified undergraduate students to present and discuss papers on topics in Judaic Studies. The conference aims to foster intercollegiate conversations among undergraduates pursuing research in Judaic Studies, as well as to provide accomplished undergraduates with the opportunity to present their research and receive feedback from peers.
The third annual Undergraduate Judaic Studies Conference will take place on Sunday, February 17th (Presidents’ Day Weekend), 2019 at Yale University.
Papers submissions are due Wednesday, December 19th, 2018.
If you are interested in submitting a paper for review, please see the “Submissions” page. Please read through the paper submission guidelines carefully before submitting. If selected, you will be invited to present your research at the conference. Students whose papers are selected will receive travel subsidies as well as free food and housing.
We look forward to reading your ideas and to seeing you at the conference, either as a presenter or as a participant. We hope you will join us in this effort to foster a meaningful conversation about Jewish experience that spans many fields of study as well as many campuses.
The Undergraduate Judaic Studies Conference 2019 is sponsored by the Yale Program in Judaic Studies.
